Since Robert Lamb set up One Planet Pictures, we have produced over 50 hours of television reaching 800 million television homes worldwide. Most programmes are part of a multi-media package. On average programmes are shown on 20 to 30 channels. A total of 150 stations have shown the entire editorially-independent output.
Our documentaries have been broadcast on 150 national and international channels and on 4 of the 6 major global news channels. Channels showing our films do so under their own editorial supervision and programmes playing on this website are not necessarily as they appear on the broadcasters. A new series of World Challenge has just gone live – the social entrepreneurship prize that asks BBC World News viewers to vote for their favourite sustainable business or project. Now in it’s 7th season, the series hits screens from September - November 2011
