BLUE COMMUNITIES are a series of one minute PSAs commissioned by Dubai to mark its initiative to promote sustainable coastal development. Virtually everywhere in the world - where 60% of us live within a 100 kms of the land bordering the sea - coastal ecosystems are under mounting pressure. Dubai has launched a global initiative to foster an international move to promote development that protects and restores the ecosystems where land meets the sea. OPP found positive stories of communities that have bucked the trend of destroying our coastlines. These were made into the PSAs which have been transmitted on CNN and Eurosport to critical acclaim.			intro
