Building Better for Next Time
At 8 a.m. on the morning, 26th December 2004, a Richter 9 earthquake dislodged the sea floor by 15m to cause the biggest tsunami in living memory. This programme – first broadcast on BBC World News on the 5th anniversary - re-visits four Asian countries devastated by the tsunami and finds patchy progress has been made under the international relief effort to prepare for the next tidal disaster.
