Earthquakes, landslides, typhoons, tsunamis - disasters we call natural. But the toll they take on the most vulnerable, especially children, is unacceptable.The fact that so many are killed, injured or made destitute by natural disasters is mainly due to lack of forward planning. Environmental mismanagement and corruption are also to blame.
In Children on the Frontline we travel to some of the world's most perilous regions to focus on the young people who are doing something to combat the risks to themselves and to their communities from disasters - natural and man-made.
