World Challenge 08

Eight programmes : October – December.
Now in its 4th year, World Challenge gives Internet browsers, BBC viewers and Newsweek readers a chance to nominate their favourite green business or community venture. This year again nearly 1000 entries came in from all over the world - 3 times more than its inaugural year in 2005.

So please vote for your favourite and ask any friends to do likewise! All the details are on www.theworldchallenge.co.uk

According to Robert Lamb, who came up with the World Challenge concept: "It's a chance for small-scale entrepreneurs with a conscience to have their day in the sun. Instead of some jury comprising the great and good deciding which one should win, the viewers can vote online for their favourite".

Find out more about the 2008 finalists and past winners on the World Challenge website.
